Black Diamond Recording Studios is the largest professional recording studio in Oregon – located 15 minutes east of Downtown Portland. We pride ourselves on utilizing cutting-edge technology to help get you the sound you desire. Black Diamond has the space and equipment to record large member groups as well as solo artists. Portland is full of a variety of unique acts and we enjoy the challenge of making sure everyone leaves the studio with a project that matches, and hopefully exceeds their expectations.

At Black Diamond, we have 24 foot vaulted ceilings in the live room and it measures an astounding 26’ x 34’ x 24’. We also have three other isolation rooms; two of them are 15’ x 12’ x 20’ with 20 foot vaulted ceilings. The vocal booth is heavily deadened with Auralex 4" studio foam. The control room is designed for near field monitoring and is 23’ x 15’ x 12’. We are currently the only studio in Portland running the new Avid HDX System, giving us the ability to handle incredibly large projects with the highest availible quality.
